  8. Learn your local food history (known as foodways).

  9. Seek out foods that are in the Ark of Taste.

  10. Don’t just eat. Taste your food-relish its flavor and texture.

  11. Prepare a meal with your family.

  12. Patronize restaurants and stores that carry local products.

  13. Incorporate food that is good, clean and fair into your diet.

  14. Educate yourself regarding the following (often misunderstood) food terms: organic, naturally grown, free-range, cage-free.
